Applicants must pass pre-employment screenings. A high school diploma or an original college transcript depending on the position at the center must be submitted at the interview. A health clearance and TB testing must be completed prior to employment. Applicants must pass a criminal background check once employed at the center. Three reference letters from previous employers, professors, teachers, and/or a qualified representative/supervisor from a children's program affiliated with a church. Reference letters from friends or relatives will not be acceptable. Letters must include the person's address, telephone number, email address if available, and their relationship to you. Experience in the field is mandatory for applicants applying for a teacher and/or administrative position. Applicants with experience applying for the teacher assistant position would be helpful. Consideration will be given to applicants applying for the teacher assistant position even though he/she lacks experience in the early childhood field. Review of previous employment will be required for all positions. CPR/FIRST AID and Food/Sanitation certificates helpful but not necessary.
